The staff was incredibly friendly & accommodating, making check-in a breeze. The breakfast was a highlight, especially Ms. Mary, whose cheerful demeanor and quality service made our mornings pleasant.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning system was a huge letdown, affecting our sleep quality as it felt too warm during the night. Additionally, some maintenance issues lingered, with cleanliness not being consistent across our stay.

The hotel sits conveniently off I-85, making it a breeze to access while traveling. A notable highlight is the breakfast area which, despite some limitations in variety, offers decent options like a pancake machine and cinnamon buns that really kickstart the day.

If you're planning to explore the nearby lake, be prepared for a drive of 10 to 20 minutes, which might put a dent in your plans. Little comforts mattered too, like an A/C that had a pesky motion sensor causing fluctuating temperatures.

The stay included access to a good little workout area and a pool, perfect for families. Located near multiple dining options and a gas station, it was easy to get around. A standout point was the breakfast with great options like bacon and cheese omelets. However, the breakfast did feel a bit limited on choices available during peak hours, and the small pool area could become crowded quickly.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lavonia By Ihg was beautifully decorated and accessible. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful layout with ample seating in the lobby, which made it comfortable for seniors like myself to relax.

The breakfast was a highlight with options like the pancake machine and cinnamon buns available, making for a satisfying start to the day.

The only downside was the tub shower, which I found to be slippery.

I appreciated the location being close to several dining options like Chick-fil-A and Longhorn Steakhouse. No significant complaints, just minor tweaks could elevate the experience.

Diving into Lavonia’s food scene was a treat! The nachos at Chick-fil-A were downright legendary, and it was clutch having Shoney's for a classic bite nearby. Clean rooms and the friendly staff just sweetened the deal!

But let's not sugarcoat it—the breakfast game could use some spice. With the eggs and potatoes disappearing faster than you can say 'what's good? ', it felt a bit limited for weekend munchies.

A Comfortable Stay With Room for Improvement

My partner and I enjoyed a week-long stay. The lobby was stylish and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day. However, late-night noise from slamming doors and a sleepy front desk attendant affected our sleep. I'd recommend requesting a room further from the main lobby.

I had a pleasant stay overall with clean rooms and a delicious breakfast featuring Cinnamon rolls and pancake machines. One downside was the inconsistent air conditioning, making it a bit hard to sleep comfortably. I would definitely choose this place again.
